Come hang out with other moms in the ward every Wednesday from 9-11am at the Glenn Meadows Park. Hope to see you there!!!

October 19

The primary program is October 19, 2008 at 9am in the chapel. There will be a practice the day before, 9-18-08 from 9am-11am in the chapel as well. Please have your children memorize their parts before then. Please also make sure that they wear sunday dress to the practice as we will be in the chapel. Thanks!

Primary Program

We are fast approaching the primary program. It would be beneficial to your kids if you would help them practice the songs for the program. Here is a list of the songs we have been learning:

September Primary

The primary theme for september is "I can pray to Heavenly Father, and He will hear and answer my prayers". The scripture is Mark 11:24

Achievement Day Activities

Sept 6th -pick apples at orchard (Saturday)

Sept 11th- make apple pies/write letters to teachers

Oct 2- tye dye shirts (bring your own t-shirt)

Oct 24th- not a sleepover/game night(Friday)

Nov 6th- prepare for mother/daughter activity

Nov 22nd- mother/daughter activity with (prep widow baskets)

Dec 4-make gingerbread houses

Dec 18-deliver widow baskets

all activities are Thursday from 5-6 pm unless otherwise noted

Why?

We started this blog to be able to keep the moms in the ward with kids under 18 informed of activities that are going on. If you know of any activities (i.e. primary, youth, etc) that are going on the ward please email saffordsixthrs@gmail.com and we will make sure that they get posted on here. Thanks!!
